Snapshots from Kigali, Rwanda

Some photos from my time in Kigali, Rwanda (earlier in the year). Rwanda is such a beautiful and peaceful country. My favourite part of the entire experience was visiting the Kigali Genocide Memorial. It was deeply heartbreaking to listen to some of the stories, but it was also quite inspiring to hear some of the survivors speak about love, community, and most of all forgiveness. Rwanda’s commitment to staying unified is astonishing and I think that every country can learn something from them.
