Birthday at Jeffrey’s

The older I get the more intimate I like my birthdays to be. There’s nothing as special as spending your birthday with people who mean a lot to you. I’ve definitely learnt that less is always more and so my goal is really to live a more stress-free life. That means not getting upset when friends don’t remember your birthday or not making a fuss over what to do for your birthday. After all, the whole point of getting older should be getting wiser, right?

I had late lunch/dinner at Jeffrey’s to celebrate my birthday this year. Jeffrey’s is a really cosy restaurant and what I loved the most was their playlist – they  definitely play my kind of music lol. As soon as we walked in, Colbie Caillat’s Little Things was playing in the background and so I got really excited.

Dinner started off with some delicious Bang, Bang Shrimp which is basically flash-fried shrimp tossed in sweet Thai chili aioli… yum! Everything else after that was pretty average but I still had an amazing time.

Ps: I absolutely loved my ice cream confetti cake…. it was so good!
